pet peeves.  {8^D

Should not the past tense of the verb {8^D be {8^Ded.  Or perhaps it is one
of those irregular verbs in which the tense is indicated by the spelling,
such as ride and rode?  So in that spirit, today I {8^D but yesterday I
{8vD?
