:)  The freedom to choose is dear to my heart.

I don't know about in your country, but here in the USA the very discussion of death
is frowned upon by many. "Prolonging life" at all costs seems to be a popular idea -
even if what is being called "life" is not what *I* would consider living.  Seems
it's just driven by thoughtless emotion on one side and money on the other side.

Of course I have not read this new book, only saw the website when John sent the
URL, but open discussion and informed decision making is essential. If this website
and book will encourage that then I approve.

What a shame it would be to come to your own personal decision only to find yourself
blocked (when you are no longer in a good position to argue) by family emotionalism
or medical financial opportunism - or laws against your choice, passed by people who
do not know you or your situation *at all* and do not care.

IMHO, the laws will never be fixed if open discussion does not take place.
