[ExI] Is there anything special about Boston?

I'm thinking of writing a story about a transhumanist in the Boston 
area.  However, I may decide on another city if there isn't something of 
interest to transhumanists that's *only* in Boston.  All that comes to 
mind right now are Kurzwiel, MIT, and the W3C but I don't know how 
important to transhumanism they are.

So what's in the area that'd be a big draw?
