I wish them luck but I don't believe this beast will ever pay for itself.  It is not cheap to build and maintain that large a structure.  I am no structural engineer but I would wonder a bit about the inherent heat stress plus wind shear plus continuous powerful updrafts.  Also the night time temperature at base shouldn't be very high with no greenhouse effect.
