has resigned from the American Physical Society over the issue of climate
change. The following is his resignation letter:
Hey, they are right, the evidence really is incontrovertible. Anyone who
contradicts it is pressured out or resigns. With Dr. Giaever gone, the
society is back to unanimity, hooray!
Oy, this question seems far from settled to me. Actually I suspect the
climate is trending warmer gradually. I just haven't figured out what
factors are causing it. Where are the models showing the impact of
increased irrigation putting additional water vapor into the atmosphere?
Where are the activists demanding we stop irrigating crops?
