Here is my admittedly meager contribution to Transhumanism a la Max More, Nick Bostrum, et. al.:
 "If I define myself by what I am, then I lock myself into obsolete self-knowledge and restrict my ability to adapt and evolve. If I define myself by what I am constantly becoming from moment to moment, then I constantly adapt and evolve. If I define myself correctly, then I control my own evolution."
