Careful cost-benefit analysis. Assassination is not free, especially
within a civil society, so don't demand all the power, or even just
enough to make it worth their while to bump the guy off.
$1 trillion and effective immunity from the law is one thing.
Several $million - enough to get $1 million/year from conservative
investments - is quite another, and enough for a canny player
(and this guy's already established as such) to live comfortably
and fund certain exponential-returns-potential developments.
