Yes. Few things in the world currently have such potential for disruption
as Bitcoin (and other (quasi)cryptocurrencies, eventually). Looking into
Bitcoin and everything it connects to is also intellectually very
satisfying, as cryptocurrencies and their economic and political
ramifications are a delightfully complex topic.

For people new to Bitcoin, I recommend Rick Falkvinge as a thoughtful
proponent who's well worth reading. Here are some recent things he's
