I regularly use modafinil when I need an extra mental edge or to lower 
my task activation threshold. It is useful, but a bit like having had a 
good cup of coffee all day - it is by no means the drug from Limitless. 
Individual effects vary quite a lot too: your normal level of arousal 
and mood matters.
