BICEP2 and the Fermi paradox
What would be an even better idea is to get rid of the idea that spawned the
whole thing: original sin. billw
Ja. I can see a huge problem with the whole concept. As soon as the topic
of original sin arises, every yahoo starts claiming to have thought up a new
one that no one else had ever committed before. Then they start arguing
over whose novel sin is the most original. Pretty soon somebody suggests
setting up sinful intellectual property, scandal royalties, a sin patent
office, oy vey, chaos ensues.
I say forget the whole thing, keep sin open source, or just stick with the
old fashioned time-honored sins.
