The connections are there for to anyone paying attention. There are just
way too many extropians involved for it to be a coincidence, like Nick
Szabo, Wei Dai, Hal Finney, and Perry Metzger. The early recommendation of
Julian Assange is rather interesting and possibly extropic, but Wikileaks
was under intense pressure at the time anyway, so he probably found out
about Bitcoin for that reason.
