Are we talking only about those who live within the confines of space-time
we can observe?  I wonder if cosmological constants have been left in
'safe' settings - we generally don't fear the oven is going to set fire to
the house while we're at work.  I propose all the order we are capable of
producing may be the plan for your Old Ones to consume as a refined fuel.
Otherwise,  they deserve to lose this universe to those who can put it to
better use.
