"Carnegie Mellon University chemists have developed two novel methods to
characterize 3-dimensional macroporous hydrogels—materials that hold great
promise for developing "smart" responsive materials that can be used for
catalysts, chemical detectors, tissue engineering scaffolds and absorbents
for carbon capture."
