Early days.

It's possible that crystal injections and laser treatment may help navigate the key vulnerable brain tissue areas through phase transitions. 

We'll just have to wait till it gets applied someplace.

Seems problematic for chilling large volumes, especially in opaque and dispersive materials. Still, the human body is fairly transparent in near infrared...
