That would be a very risky thing to do. There is a reason changing the
constitution is hard, doing so could be extreamly dangerous.

I doubt if the Bill of Rights would win the popular vote in an election if
it were held today.

This has been confirmed several times in 'person on the street' type
studies.  Show the walker the Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of INd.
you get way less than 100% agreement with it. Some will call them
communist.  (Some studies will sign the Dec. of INd. Lenin or Stalin.)
 What's discouraging is that so many people fail to recognize these
fabulous documents and even disagree with the sentiments.  Makes me think
of the actual time of the revolution:  a majority of us wanted to stay with
the King of England and remain as a colony.

I mentioned awhile back that Nevada, I think, has a voting provision for
voting NO, and if no candidate gets a majority they have to pick new
candidates.  Is there any other year you can think of that would rival this
one for needing such an option in the presidential race?
