I do agree that VR promises to make point of view more malleable.  Given
the parallel developments in read/write of memories in the brain,  soon we
may be capable of granting you a new perspective complete with the personal
backstory for context to have that perspective make sense. I'm not sure
that's exactly what you were looking for.  I imagine there will be
situations where "forced perspective" will be a violation of an
individual's personal identity.  That's going to be some crazy legal
precedent.
