The only way to know is to run the Bitcoin program. This was explained in
the original Bitcoin whitepaper: https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf As long as
the transaction follows all of the rules, and spends a valid Bitcoin as
input to the transaction, and the transaction has been "mined" into blocks
in the blockchain, then the bitcoin payment is considered successful by the
