I wouldn't be so sure.  Sanders ingratiated himself with the DNC by
graciously accepting defeat even in the face of evidence he was
stonewalled by collusion by party elites.  But his anti-establishment
rhetoric throughout the primary alienated him from the establishment
superdelegates, and he still failed to capture enough "normal"
delegates to seriously challenge Mrs. Clinton.
