That's most of them, given that assimilation leads to a better
standard of living on average.

And most of them have assimilated.  "Leave them alone" would entail
forcibly unassimilating them,  That is apparently not what you meant
to convey.

Any change you argue for, starts from the current status quo,
regardless of what you mean to say.  Please stay aware of that in the
future.
