OK cool, this gets us part of the way there (and I like what it says.)  Since we don’t know how any individual scorers voted (and cannot get at that data) we can look at state composite SAT scores.  We know how the states voted.

 

This technique isn’t perfect (is isn’t even good) but it might be a start.
