Dear friends,

Happy Elie Metchnikoff’s Day – May 15 – in honor of the founder of
gerontology, a pioneering and founding figure in the scientific struggle
with degenerative aging processes and for healthy longevity. Let his legacy
inspire more research and education activities in the field of aging and
longevity. Hopefully, marking this day will become a tradition in longevity
research and advocacy community, to build on and continue the historical
legacy of great scientists in the field.

As a personal way to celebrate, the site http://www.longevityhistory.com
now makes freely available for download the e-books – “A History of
Life-extensionism in the Twentieth Century” and “Longevity Promotion:
Multidisciplinary Perspectives” and some 40 more articles on different
aspects of longevity advocacy, science, history and philosophy, including
materials on Elie Metchnikoff’s legacy. http://www.longevityhistory.co

Happy Metchnikoff’s Day!
