Here is another interesting statistic, In 2014 the Democrats didn't do
nearly as well as they did in 2018 but even so they got 2,456,929 more
votes in House elections than the republicans did, but the republicans
GAINED 8 House seats and the democrats LOST 8 House seats. The cause of
this was republican gerrymandering. Voters are supposed to choose their
representatives but instead representatives choose their voters.
