No, the rape allegory was pretty obvious.  Strong references to his phallic
imagery, her private parts, the usual metaphor-that-doesn't-relate when sex
happened, and then she wound up pregnant and giving birth.  It was sex, and
not consensual from the point of view of one of the participants, which
makes it rape.
