Why are we even talking about this? Regardless of who wins the presidential
election nobody is going to be abolishing the police! Although I grant you
that one of the candidates may be less than enthusiastic about encouraging
people to spend $1 million on yet another police armored personnel carrier
and figure that money would increase national security more if it were
spent in other ways.
