Deftly?  What is this deftly jazz?  My bride is always accusing me of that, but it really isn’t.  So I don’t always respond immediately to things, such as the doorbell, fire alarms, her urgent request for assistance in cleaning up the joint, that sorta thing.  But I had my hearing checked and my doctor said it was something else causing the problem.
