[ExI] The USA is no longer the uncontested leader in science

25% of the amount of money spent on R&D worldwide is spent by the USA, for
China it's 23%;  but in the USA it's increasing by only 4.3% a year, in
China it's increasing by 17% a year.

China is closing gap with the USA on research
