And I am not kidding.  NASCAR is unbelievably huge in the South, where
rednecks wearing Confederate flags on their heads, cars, etc. party at the
races..  NASCAR just banned Confederate flags at all their events.  This
could destroy their popularity.

In other words, it was a huge step for them and a courageous one.
