SR, I don’t think that previous photo was really the fault. It is possible to find the San Andreas fault in a lotta places around here, but that other photo isn’t what the fault looks like really.
This is photo was taken in those hills above San Jose in 1906:
This one was taken in 1989 near here at a park where I go camping sometimes:
