I don’t see how fear and anger are opposite.  I would consider them more similar than opposite.

 

I don’t think a person needs the emotion of anger at all, but could keep fear (enough to stay sane.)

 

I have known people who are very nearly devoid of anger (my father was like that (if he had a trace of it, I never saw it in 17 years.))
