There was a guy in the US in this exact situation a few years ago  if I recall correctly his wish to be frozen before his brain deteriorated was denied by a court.

Ja, this is a big problem.  If one must go into assisted living with full accommodations, the cost of cryonic suspension is about equal to that distasteful arrangement for five months.  Think about that.
