I understood about one word out of 5 if that.  It doesn't have to be
music:  any background noise drives my brain nuts.  A loud party?  I won't
be able to understand you from two feet away.  Hearing aids promise to be
able to deal with background noise, but they can't. Lots of people waste a
lot of money on expensive aids which don't deliver the goods.  I have tried
