Thanks BillK!  I had an office with a window long ago.  The starlings would do those kinds of maneuvers all day.  That sight of those amazing creatures was so astonishing it was hard to concentrate on one's work.  I wanted to just marvel at the wonder of it all, the way they would dive and pirouette as a unit, I wanted to just admire them, then figure out a way to rig up some kind of net, haul down the entire flock, feed them to the hogs, make a buttload.
