Yes, I have a guy who has two intact ears and I rely on him to listen for
me.  But after he leaves I have to adjust the tone controls.  My high
frequency hearing with the aids is better than his.

If you ever get hearing aids, and probably all males over 60 need them, be
sure to get a remote control for volume - turn down at Walmart, etc.
