Here’s a big clue BillK: a vintage clothing site offered trousers that looked like the ones in the reunion photo:

 

 



 

The song which starts “Everybody was kung fu fighting” was released by Carl Douglas in 1974.  (BillK, did that particular silliness make it to Britain?)

 

The site sounded like it knew its vintage clothing.

 

So… probably 1974, which makes it even easier to explain thr poofy goofy hair.
