Looks like the Cathedral just noticed the Singularity, and they don't seem
happy about it.  That's a pretty thorough and comprehensive hatchet job.
They're trying to get right to the root of the thing: i.e. us.

We seem to be transitioning from stage 2 to stage 3 of "First they ignore
you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."

Interesting times.
