ChatGPT claiming that it can neither lie nor truth leads to all manner of paradox.

 

So… I tried it:

 

You

tell me a lie

ChatGPT

I am a human.

 

If it is human, it can lie, but it told the truth in that case.  But if it isn’t human, it can neither lie nor tell the truth, but it lied in the example above.  We still cannot really know.
