Ah Julian Assange, ja.  But he only posted I think about 20 or so times.  From my vague recollection he came in here, got in fights with nearly everybody, proposed an offlist subgroup which I joined, in about 1994 or 1995, went mostly OK for a while, then he got into it with Mike Lorrey and ended up leaving that subgroup.  As I recall he only posted that few times, always about that one topic: transparency.  Then, no more.

 

Satoshi: for sure but Hal never admitted to being Satoshi or even part of the composite character that I think Satoshi is, made up of about five or six guys, of which I think Hal was one.
