Adrian, I know you are a clever composer of verse (we don’t do that much in this forum any more (why?)) It occurred to me that ChatGPT has ruined poetry, by being generally better at it than most of us. However… there is something in that verse that is a dead giveaway you wrote this yourself rather than asking ChatGPT. Tell me if I err, and if correct, what do you suppose was my big clue? Correction two big clues.

Ja, that would make three clues: you have been one to have a creative sensa huma.

There was a small typo in the original which GPT wouldn’t make, but the first thing I noticed is that bit about the computronium brick. I really don’t think GPT could coaxed into comparing itself to a computronium brick. That was a cool humanism, if I may add alternative definition to that already used term.

Since about 20 years ago, we have entered a far more somber time. It reminds me of what a historian wrote about the Victorian Era of English history: It was a relatively humorless age, with gaity and jocularity generally disdained, considered beneath the dignity of the more noble classes…

Compared to 25 years ago, we appear to have entered a neo-Victorian era, but without an actual queen to mark the end of it with her demise.
