My great great grandfather from Kentucky did that Gadersd, only he didn’t use beans and oats.  He used corn, fermented that.  Then sold the results.  Then he wasn’t in poverty anymore.  Raised 25 children, three different wives, every one of them legitimate in the traditional sense.  He has (we think) around six hundred direct descendants.
