Spike, from the scale of their energy use they are at least 3100 years
ahead of us. What do you think of the chance of an army3100 years ago
against modern weapons?

I don't know exactly what to expect. They seem to be optimized for
computation, far out from their star and cold. As long as we stay
planet-bound, they could move into the solar system and we would
hardly notice.
