Can sufficiently advanced robots and computer programs provide
companionship and/or erotic stimulus. sure. Mentally ill people can find
those in all sorts of places.

But marriage? If marriage ever had anything to do with romantic commitment,
let alone sex, let alone childrearing, the last 50 years of
activist jurisprudence have thoroughly severed that attachment.
