In Johan Norbergs new "The Capitalist Manifesto" he does have a chapter
on china, and it does seem that the current president is turning away
from capitalism, and if the turn is too sharp, and too far, disaster
will follow.

Hmm, I think an acquaintance, who has done even more business with
chinese than I have mentioned that the internal communicated date was
before 2030. But a lot of things can happen, and it was years ago, so
who knows.
