[ExI] Why has Elon Musk endorsed Donald Trump?

I rather suspect it is 2 prime: Elon, like most of Trump's big name
supporters, thinks he has negotiated favorable treatment for his interests
with Trump.  However, should Trump win, Trump will forget about such
earlier promises.  Elon's success or failure in a Trump administration will
depend on his post-election negotiation of politics, a process that will
continue until Elon gives up in Trump or Trump is out of office, one way or
another.
