The way around that is to copy up to limit in multiple chunks.  Tell the AI
that you will be sending in the story in multiple batches starting with the
next message and will tell it when you are done,then send batch after batch
until you are done, then tell the AI that you are done.  This might not
always work, but it's worked for me.
