I see no reason why they couldn't be set up to handle post-death
requirements also.
Perhaps relying on human assistance will not be necessary in future.

I have a FitBit watch.  It knows stuff.  These FitBit watches are pretty
good at looking at sleep quality.  I have learned a lotta stuff, and now I
have made an appointment with the sleep doctor.  She thinks she sees
something important.

I wrote a song about it.  The fun part goes like this:

It knows when you are sleeping, it knows when you're awake, 
It calls Max when you perish, so buy one for evolution's sake.

Hey never said it was a GOOD song.
