:)  Don't worry - I don't think they are compulsory!
You are not in the intended customer group.
They are aimed at old people who are housebound and lonely and under
the care of a social worker. Probably with medical problems as well.
The social worker may well be the only person they ever speak to.
They may not be able to care for an animal.
No wonder they are delighted to get a bit of ChatGPT robotic attention
(and supervision).
