Hacker News reports that after all the traffic lights failed, the
Waymos had to treat every junction as a 4-way crossroads.
They went into ultra-cautious mode to filter through the crossroads.
Unfortunately, the human drivers didn't slow down very much. So the
poor Waymos couldn't filter out into the fast-moving human traffic.
Then the humans started driving around the cautious Waymos and
frightening them even more.  :)
The Waymos may need some counselling after all this.
