Roll a die on a metaphor for superintelligence.  Result rolled: a
sprawling discussion that's rather off-topic from the metaphor yet
keeps using the subject line.  (A quick glance through the archives
suggests that not a single reply addressed the original post's main
point, instead diverging to discussions of, e.g., the reliability - or
lack thereof - of IQ as a measurement.)
