*It's not just wind power that China has embraced, it's just as
enthusiastic about solar power. On the Tibetan plateau China has built the
world's largest solar farm, it covers 162 square miles and produces 20
gigawatts of electricity, about what 20 nuclear power plants could produce.
The US was going to build a 6.2-GW solar + storage facility in Nevada which
would've been the largest in the US, but apparently He Who Must Not Be
Named hates solar power just as much as he hates wind power because about
two weeks ago, for reasons not made clear, he canceled the project. You may
find that the following chart is interesting, somebody is being left in the
dust. Meanwhile construction on the $300 million White House ballroom
continues, and so does the renovation of **bathroom for the Lincoln
bedroom, they added lots of white "statue grade" **marble and gold plated
fixtures, even a gold trash can. *
