I bought 25 shares of government shutdown lasting past 20 Nov.  If the
former speaker of the house, the late Rep. Pelosi is telling the truth, the
shutdown can never end.  Reason: it requires congressional vote of 60
senators.  Now we hear from her there are no senators:

Without senators, there can be no budget.  According to my piece of paper,
POTUS doesn't have the authority on budget considerations, only congress
does.  But if congress has been abolished, then so has all federal
government spending.  I didn't realize POTUS has the authority to abolish
congress.

 

Something seems a bit off here.  I just checked my piece of paper: POTUS
doesn't have the authority to abolish congress.  I believe my piece of paper
a lot more than I believe the late Mrs. Pelosi.

 

Now I don't know if my 25 shares will pay.  Advice welcome.
